Nothing shipped overnight. Claude, Gemini and GPT are unsupported.

A 52-second product video for a product that does not exist. It has beaten every real launch of the week and it is still going up.

Nothing has a product video. Nothing has a feature list. Nothing is compatible with nothing, supports no APIs, and lists Claude, Gemini and GPT as unsupported. The video runs 52 seconds and gets to the point somewhere in the middle, where the screen reads "nothing", and under that, "literally".

It went up at 12:45 in the morning on 27 August, from a builder who posts as Ted, under the handle @notmiramurati. The whole announcement is four words. "there is no launch", it reads. "i love you". Then a link to launchnothing.com.

Fifty-two seconds is not a screenshot with a caption on it. Somebody sat down and made this for a product that does not exist, and posted it at a quarter to one in the morning.

It had 17.6K views when we first read it this morning, with 234 likes, 61 replies and 55 reposts. 55K views and 700 likes by the time we finished writing this, and still climbing while you read it.

Then launchnothing.com does the thing it was always going to do. It sends you to unfair.so/nothing, where the headline reads "We launched nothing. And still got hundreds of thousands of views", and the line under it reads "Imagine launching an actual product."

unfair.so sells creator marketing, which is to say it sells exactly what just happened. Sponsored posts start at $20. Ted's profile has said so the whole time: "unfair.so gives me an advantage".

The page claims hundreds of thousands of views, which the post it points at has not done yet. At the rate it is going it will be right by this evening.

The Indie Press did not ask Ted for comment. He has said there is no launch, and we believe him.
