A dozen tools launch to run AI coding agents, none agreeing on how
Atlas hit 895 GitHub stars in a day tracking what coding agents change, one of at least twelve agent infrastructure tools launched in the same window.
Pacifio's Atlas climbed to rank 9 on GitHub's trending page with 895 stars in a day. Its pitch, in its own words, is "source control for agents": a way to track multiple coding agents, see what each one changed, and query the record later. "Agents now write a large share of the code and keep none of the reasoning behind it," the project's page says. "Atlas records both, and makes them queryable: what changed, by whose agent, at what point in time." It also claims to carry memory across sessions, so a new agent picking up a task gets "a curated fact pack and the tail of your last one, even when that session ran on a different agent."
